In 1964, founding partner DJ Dufford began building the successful water, real estate, and agricultural law practice that would grow to become Dufford, Waldeck, Milburn & Krohn, LLP. From the start, Dufford's clients included some of the largest ranches in Mesa County. In 1978, William G. Waldeck joined the firm, bringing in some of the area's largest mining and water ventures as clients.

Dufford Waldeck's growth has kept pace with society's ever-increasing volume and complexity of laws and regulations. Our attorneys practice in the federal and state courts in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, as well as in various administrative agencies. We support our research, preparation, and services with the latest technology and an expanding breadth of expertise.
