John R. Surratt, P.A. was founded in 1932 by Benet Polikof and Dallace McLennan as Polikof and McLennan. In 1951 John R. Surratt joined the firm and the name was subsequently changed to McLennan & Surratt, and thereafter to its present name. Since its origin, the firm has continuously conducted a general civil practice with concentrations in corporate and commercial law, estate planning and administration, real estate and family law. The firm is proud of its ability to deliver quality legal services, utilizing state of the art systems, while maintaining a close and personal relationship with clients.
