Additional Info

Litigation matters in all state and federal court trial and appellate courts and arbitration forums.

Our Annapolis, Maryland, law firm, Bernstein & Feldman, P.A., is an elite business and real estate law firm that represents both local and national clients facing a broad spectrum of legal challenges. We also serve as general counsel for many of our clients through our My General Counsel program.

Bernstein & Feldman, P.A., was founded in 1981 by principal attorneys Alan Bernstein and Jerry Feldman. After working together since 1974, the two lawyers joined forces to create their own firm. Since then, the firm's practice has flourished. We have achieved notable successes in both transactional issues and litigation, and our lawyers have been named "Leading Lawyers in Annapolis" for the second straight year. We were recognized in several disciplines, including Business, Real Estate and Estates and Trusts. Together with a team of attorneys, we continue to pursue success with each client and each case we accept.

To achieve favorable outcomes for our clients, we build on practical business experience as well as legal prowess. Our attorneys have substantial experience in private practice, in addition to having worked as securities dealers, real estate brokers, and in-house corporate counsel managing legal affairs for national and regional corporations.

Handling a Broad Spectrum of Business and Individual Needs

We handle a diverse range of business and personal legal matters. These include real estate law services to individuals and businesses, as well as business litigation and transactional business matters. Our corporate and business law practice addresses, among other things, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and business structure, business and partnership disputes, and employment issues. Our real estate attorneys are equipped to advise on residential and commercial transactions, the latter including zoning, land use, and administrative law issues, among other matters. We also advise individuals with respect to estate planning and probate matters.

We also function as outside general corporate counsel to businesses in Maryland and Washington, D.C. through our My General Counsel program and through established relationships with corporate leaders. The program allows local businesses to retain us as counsel at one fixed monthly price.

The principals of our firm own and operate Mid-Maryland Title Company and Mid-Maryland Title East, which have long provided residential and commercial real estate settlement services through the state of Maryland at competitive prices.

Our Approach

Our time spent in the business world, our combined years of experience and our dedication to client satisfaction prepares us to handle any concerns you may have, including business, real estate, land use, zoning, administrative, probate, estate administration, and estate planning matters.

While our attorneys are well-prepared to litigate matters when appropriate, we turn first to more cost-effective alternatives, such as mediation, arbitration or negotiation.
