Founded by David Rothman in 1980, our firm has been exclusively dedicated to defending the rights of clients accused of criminal activity, for over a quarter of a century. Clients know that when they are in need of aggressive criminal defense, they can call on us for experienced and reputable services. With the same office, in the same Miami location and the same friendly and knowledgeable staff, we offer stability to clients facing uncertainty.
We represent business entities and individuals in the region and nationwide from our South Florida offices. Contact our Miami law firm if you would like to meet or speak with one of our criminal trial attorneys.
Former prosecutor, David Rothman, has extensive experience investigating, prosecuting and defending in a wide range of criminal cases, including drugs, sexual battery, homicide, economic crime, and one of the largest racketeering prosecutions ever brought in the state of Florida. Using the broad and extraordinary experience he gained as a prosecutor, he founded a firm dedicated solely to criminal defense, offering clients powerful representation. Our criminal trial attorneys handle matters as sensitive as sex offense charges such as possession or distribution of child pornography and as complex as federal conspiracy and mortgage fraud cases.
We are accessible - The cornerstone of our success is the confidential client relationships we build and maintain. Our clients can rely on our lawyers and staff to be approachable, responsive, efficient and effective.
We are attentive - From our initial client meeting and throughout the representation, our skilled criminal defense lawyers and support staff provide the kind of personal attention that is unavailable from a larger firm. We provide personalized legal representation based on the background, needs and objectives of the client. We respond promptly to telephone calls and report regularly on case developments.
We are dedicated - The consequences of a criminal case can be devastating. We know that success in criminal defense can only be achieved through hard work, diligence, resolve and dedication. Our criminal trial lawyers and staff are committed to fight for each of our clients.
We are experienced - At Rothman & Associates, our decades of criminal trial experience before judges and juries in state and federal courts throughout the United States have given us the knowledge, experience and understanding necessary to be successful in achieving the best results.
We are recognized - By limiting our practice to criminal defense, Rothman & Associates, P.A. has earned recognition as a "Top Law Firm" and "Top Lawyers" by South Florida Legal Guide, been listed by Florida's Leading Lawyers and included in Martindale Hubbell in its Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
